Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Lopian and Mrs. Benner have each received training on restorative practices and their uses within a school setting. These teachers will be training all other teachers on these practices.

- use of Affective Statements by teachers and others
- this is simply telling students how their behavior affects others including the teacher
- they will be used to acknowledge success. hard work, collaboration or any undesirable behavior
- use of Affective Questions by teachers and administration
- What happened?
- What were you thinking of at the time?
- What have you thought about since?
- Who has been affected by what you have done? in what way?
- What do you think you need to do to make things right?
- Circles
- building community within the classroom
- building community within the junior high classes
- they will be used to work on social/emotional skills
